A Note From Our Founder

Dear Community,

May is a month of renewal — and here at Marlynn Vision Beyond Sight, we feel that energy deeply. This spring, we've been busy building new partnerships with local organizations in Grand Rapids, expanding our resource library, and planning events that bring our community face-to-face.

We know that vision loss can feel isolating. The world isn't always designed with you in mind. But that's exactly why we exist — to bridge that gap, to advocate for you, and to make sure you have every tool, connection, and piece of knowledge you need to live fully and confidently.

This month, we're especially excited about our Vision Loss 101 workshop at the Grand Rapids Public Library on May 24th. If you or someone you love has recently received a diagnosis, this is the perfect first step. It's free, welcoming, and designed with you in mind.

Thank you for being part of this community. Your strength inspires us every single day.

With gratitude,
Marlynn Vision Beyond Sight

Community Spotlight

"Before I found Marlynn Vision Beyond Sight, I felt completely lost after my diagnosis. The team connected me with the Michigan Commission for the Blind, helped me find assistive technology that changed my daily life, and introduced me to a community of people who truly understand. I'm not just surviving — I'm thriving."
